yes, the grandson of NASCAR legend David Pearson.... son of Larry Pearson, former Busch racer, sent us a message to our myspace site. He wasn't too sure what our site was (I told him it was a NASCAR picks league) He's looking for someone to sponsor a team for him in NASCAR's late model division. I told him I'd pass it on.... So if anyone wants to sponsor a team, contact him, lol. Sorry, my pockets are a little light right now or I would have Lucky Dog Racing sponsor him
That would be killer but too bad none of us are making the beaucoup-cash! I still think its sweet that a Nascar related persona contacted the page. I have always been a fan of the ol' Silver Fox. I say he ranks above Dale Sr. and R. Petty as the best driver ever.
David just sent us another message saying that he would gladly add Lucky Dog Racing as an associate sponsor on his car..... would that be killer sweet or what???
I posted a message on the main page of the site and in the blog section of our myspace page. Hopefully some business owner looking to get into racing advertising might be interested in him. He's got the name going for him at least.
Been talking to him some more.... looks like what it will cost to sponsor a team in that series is between 200-300k a year. He's mostly just raced motorcycles so far but is trying to move over to cars, ala Ricky Carmichael.
He's very confident and has a lot of support from his family. He wants to someday move into the Cup Series, so hey.... you never know.
