Todd Bodine said his Germain Racing team wants to run 12 Busch Series races later this year and perhaps three or four Nextel Cup races. Bodine, appearing on "The Morning Drive" on Sirius Satellite Radio, said the team has one Nextel Cup car and wants to run it at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 29. Bodine, who won the Craftsman Truck Series championship last year with the Toyota team, said the team wants to start its Busch program at Richmond on May 4. "The Germain brothers came into racing as new owners, never being around it, and they've had a lot of success right away, and as a businessman you want to grow your business, and for us the next step would be Busch and then the Cup Series," Bodine said on the show. "And that's what they want to do, so we're actively pursuing sponsorship and trying to go in that direction. We love the truck series. We're not going to give that up. We're still going to have trucks, but we want to grow the business." (Scene Daily) (03-28-07)
