Maybe its me but was watchng the race and many replays and saw him hit the wall and the caution flag was wavng. How did he end up a lap down in 20th place?
Well, since he didn't make it back to the finish line they ripped him off! I mean if the field is froze wtf? Nascar.com reports that his wreck happened "in front" of the other crash. Not friggin sure what the heck that has to do with it either. Field frozen means one thing to me...it over. Stewart should have got 4th or 5th. punishment complete!!

Not sure, but there was still a lap left when the wreck occured. had the wreck occured on the last lap, Stewart would have finished higher...not sure but just guessing here...

I notice Jr. keeps moving around. Originally he was 5th, then he was moved down to 8th. Now I see he's 7th. I'm going to have to change the results around but I will wait until tomorrow when the results are official.

This is correct. Field is frozen just means no one can advance, not that the race is over 'officially'. Since the #20 could not complete the last lap that they all went around, then he finished one lap down.
