I know that I have blown my chances at a Redzone Vice Prez gig due to my Power Gauge posts, I would like to share my concern with the number of teams leaving, getting kicked out, etc...
I am not crticizing anyone, I am just concerned. Would it be a bad thing to let people make picks and let them ride each week? Maybe just every 4 weeks that the have to email then in. I think some teams miss 1 or two weeks then they dont care and just quit...
since this has been brought up, how many people exactly have confirmed that they will be back next year? also, how many probables that say they want to join next go around?
Shawn, you haven't blown anything yet. I will still be looking at who is the most active in the league when and if it comes time to make a bureau.
It might be worth looking at letting picks ride for awhile, however I have always let teams know that they are able to let their picks roll over for a few weeks if they are unable to make picks for whatever reason. Some are legitimate reasons, others are simply lazy like a few of the teams that exited early on.
I'm not quite sure why there has been a sudden drop of teams over the past few months. Maybe they felt they were out of it, so whats the point? If they think they can join again they have another thing coming. I only keep teams that are commited to the league.
I believe all the regulars on the board have stated they will be returning next year. At the end of the season I will be sending out a survey letter to all the members and will ask who is returning.
not definate yet, but im pretty much 90% sure that two of my friends from work will be interested in joining up next year....we all play in a yahoo league, and they seemed really interested in the whole salary cap idea.
dont worry...one Jr fan and one Gordon fan to equal each other out......i know Kenseth and Stewart fans too, but it just seems they arent as passionate about the sport as the 8 and 24 fans!
