Since this is a new league, what do you think of it? How do you like the rules?
What would you change for next year?
I'm personally thinking of not dropping the lowest driver any longer next year. With only 4 core drivers it causes too many tie scores. What do you think?
Remember... your feedback can help make this league even better, so speak up!
what have i got to complain about ? lol ...seriously i think its great way it is. its not easy deciding on just one ford driver or whther they will do better than schraeder or picking skinner over jack or bodine . and then as tooz said most of the guys in the other chevy class i have no idea who they are , took guy in one race because he was from powhatan virginia and my dad used to live there...hows that for pick strategy ? am not sure i would make any changes this is the one series where i have no gripes or dislikes and not just because ive won a couple races . i love the segment driver and chance for bonus points with him . why not count all drivers ? have noticed it would have changed outcome more than once . either way congrats on a great series and i want to see it do well ....wish we could all have a vehicle page though , not just cup . it might take me a couple years to get in there , shame i never listened to tooz when he tried to lure me here couple years back
Perhaps someday I will do team pages for just Busch Series members since that league is becoming more developed now..... As for doing cars, possibly.... would definately be an off-season project.
I'm not planning on doing anything for the Truck Series yet because this is a new league and right now there is a lot of turn-around as you may have noticed. New teams come in and for whatever reason don't stick around too long. Some people may not really be into the Truck and Busch series as much as they want to be in Cup.
This year it has been difficult to get into the Cup Series. Since the season began, there has been zero turn around there. Most of the players in Cup now are established players and they realize how good the league is. Heck... the way it's going right now, it makes me wonder if we'll even have a rookie of the year battle next year.
There has been some turn around in the Busch Series this year, but will be slowing down I believe. Most of the teams that left the Busch Series were new teams that joined during the off-season. As I said, they might have left because it wasn't what they were really looking for or were trying to get into the Cup series fairly quickly. Two teams were dismissed by myself because they were run by the same person who already has a team, and Greenhouse Racing, an established Cup player, just left the Busch Series because of time constraints.... however he remains in the Cup Series. Very soon the Busch Series will become as hard to get into as the Cup Series.
The Truck Series will take a few years before it also has an established member base. There will still be turn-around throughout the year, that's to be expected. It will most likely go through some kinds of transistions like the other two leagues have gone through.

the best way to segment the drivers would be to divide them up like we do in the cup series,by points position, but if you dont want the truck league too much like cup then you divide the toyota drivers up into 2 segments and you MUST KEEP the lowest driver ,because dropping the lowest driver that lets us all off the hook. I love the truck league and watch all the races.the truck league is not so serious to me so its a lot of fun. I LIVE FOR CUP!
Realistically, the Fords and the Toyotas are the cream of the crop in the Truck Series right now.....
It should be you pick one Toyota, one Ford, and two guys from the Chevy/Dodge group (understanding that this group would be quite large, but they aren't real contenders any given week). And of course keep the Segment Driver rule.
