After 84 races, my lap leader streak came to end at Dover. Bummer.... just another downer in this bad season of mine. I had the 2nd longest streak in the league ever.... just 10 races shy of tying the record held by JJR. The last time I didn't have any lap leaders in a race was the final race of the 2004 season.
So now I hand the reigns over to the next highest streak, that would be Helton Motorsports. So far in his career, Nathan has never had a race without any lap leaders. His current streak is 59.... but has a long way to go of 35 more races before he could tie the record. The record could be tied at the 12th race of the 2008 season, which if the schedule stays the same for next year, would be the Coca-Cola 600.

Dover claimed a lot of streaks.... I don't think we've ever had a race where so many teams did not have at least one lap leader. Before Dover, there were only a handful of teams that didn't have a lap leader in every race. After Dover, there are just 15 teams who still have 100% going this year.
