While watching the pre-race show on Sunday, they interviewed Chad McCumbee who is driving for Petty this week. While watching this interview I could not help but say to myself "I have seen this guy somewhere before"! So, after about 30 mins of racking my brain on where I had seen him, IT HIT ME! So I go to the computer and look up the cast and crew members of the ESPN Movie of Dale Earnhardt "3". I am sure all Earnhardt fans have seen it on ESPN. Well, to make a long story short...lol. Chad McCumbee played Dale Jr in the movie! (the older Dale Jr). I knew I had seen this guy some where else before....lol.
Yeah I know that was him. He's been racing in the Truck Series, ARCA and a few other series for a number of years too.
He hasn't really been able to get a full time ride. It's nice to see him getting a break finally.... maybe his performance in the #45 car could lead to a full time ride.
