anyone watching the race last weekend heard Kyle say the "F" word. Now if Nascar wants to be fair and consistent, Kyle should be fined the same as JR was when he uttered his famous word a few years back. However because Kyle is Kyle, nothing will happen.

They really couldn't identify which radio it came from. I personally thought it sounded like Matt Kenseth, but who knows.
Personally... the radios are used to communicate between the crew and the driver. Every single driver curses on the radio. Some are worse than others. What happened to the 7 second delay that the broadcast is supposed to use? If TNT is going to play driver radios live, that's the chance they are going to take. Listen to it on Trackpass, you'll hear everything.
Do I think whatever driver you hear cursing on the radio should be fined? Hell no. Do they fine football, baseball and basketball players when a mic picks up something they are saying during the game? Hell no.
No if they are giving an interview and they slip up like Jr. did a couple of years ago, yes... I think there should be some kind of fine. Do I think points should be taken away? Nope.
You can clearly tell it was kyle's voice, if you know the sound of his voice. And later in the broadcast kyle later said he was sorry for the language, so it was him.
they idetified it was him immediately and apoligized (weber did)............and then on Inside Nextel Cup, I found out that they were on the delay and still let the word slip out........to me, to be fair, he should get the 25 pt. penalty same as Jr. did since he knew he was working as a race analyst as well as a driver that day. Also, TNT should receive a heavy fine just to keep everything fair.
They shouldn't air "private conversations" not supost to be heard by fans. Nascar should fine its self. In the heat of the moment who knows who is gonna say what. I'd have said the same thing Klye said and so would yall. Think about it. I mean he was "just" taken out by a bone-headed move, of course he's pissed so lets see what he's gonna say!?? Please...give em time to compose theirself for gods sake!

TNT's Kyle Petty raced Sunday in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 even as he served an on-air analyst. When he got in an accident on the first lap that also involved Matt Kenseth and Marc Goossens, viewers saw a replay in which the driver/analyst seemed to yell out an expletive although TNT, during the race, said it wasn't sure it came from Petty rather than from mikes in other drivers' cars. But Petty wants it clear it was his profanity: "I'm sorry it got as far as everyone's living room. But when an incident happens that early in the race and it's unexpected, what I said pretty much described it.
