It was obvious to all, that Biffle was not able to keep up speed under caution. NASCAR has a rule for this....lets see if NASCAR will admit they made another mistake....like that will ever happen. NASCAR will fine and suspend teams/drivers..but will not admit errors they blatantly make. Time for Helton and his cronies to go....enough said

I got frustrated with a rain delay at the very start so I pretty much missed the whole thing except when I jumped over to look at what was happening...(not that much).
Today was a good day to work around the house and laugh at the Bears losing!

According to section 10-4 of the NASCAR rule book, when the caution flag waves, "All cars must reduce their speed to a cautious pace, maintain their respective track position and form a single line behind the lead car. The track position of each car will be determined when the caution period begins and NO PASSING WILL BE PERMITTED unless directed by NASCAR officials. Cars must maintain a reasonable speed considering the conditions that exist on the track. Determination of a reasonable speed is a judgment call and will be made by NASCAR officials."
wow...they make a rule....then say its a judgement call. This rulebook is the laughing stock of NASCAR.

also, isn't this situation close enough to when Gordon 'passed' Jr. for the win at Talladega a couple of years ago? I wonder if it was a catastrophe of the rules then too?
ummm not even close....there are timing strips in the track that showed Gordon ahead, as well as the caution lights that came on when Gordon was ahead. Im guessing here you are a JR fan? I pay attention to all of NASCAR....not just Gordon things. Besides non of my previous comments involved him or any Hendrick team...just Biffle. Biffle knew he was in trouble when he said on camera (cant debate this). there is gas in the car...the team just wanted to push it back..hmmm kinda sounds like a big LIE !!! NASCAR JUST BLEW IT....PERIOD

admittedly, I didnt watch the race at all so I cant comment on what was said, but I did read a report today that said the exact same thing about Biffle winning as was the case with Gordon winning. When the caution came out, Biffle was in the lead. If thats the case, then its case closed.
I think NASCAR wanted to give the best race it could to its fans that were at the track. Yeah, it sucks for Stewart and some of the other Chase drivers that were caught up in the crashes that followed, but thats just part of racing.
that report was wrong. the gordon/earnhardt thing was completely different than the biffle goof-up. biffle was leading at the time of caution. he just failed to keep it under power to the finish line. enough said...if there is anything i have learned over the years...never debate with a earnhardt fan....lol kinda like democrats...only hear what they want to hear...j/k how am i going to adjust having HIM on our team??? kinda like having all the Braves players going to the Mets organization...lol
