NASCAR to give hard-liquor ads green flag By Chris Jenkins, USA TODAY NASCAR officials e-mailed a bulletin to team executives Tuesday afternoon advising them that a longstanding ban on hard-liquor advertising will be lifted for next season.
believe me, im for this, but why in the world are they doing it now and not six months ago? i guess Childress has more pull than Jack Roush.
I don't know if it's because of Childress, it was a long time coming. Just bad timing for Roush. Although maybe it was better for both teams. Both Jeff Burton and Carl Edwards are doing pretty good in their new rides. Edwards will have a full time sponsor next year. One of the better moves during the season for 2 drivers.
Sweet!....I was getting bored watching the Bud/Miller/Coors running around the track..Now we can have the Grey Goose 500 or the Jack Daniels no.7 car.....In victory lane you can pick up your "Crown Royal" trophy.
Yeah, there really will be a Jack Daniels #07 car. It will Childress's third car replacing AOL as the sponsor. Dave Blaney will be driving it next year.
