Needless to say, it was a good week for Lou Demian. Not only did he finally win a Cup race after what seemed like forever... but started a new streak with Jeff Gordon. Gordon didn't give much streak points but since Bensonbdr23 chose Tony Stewart, who had major problems at Atlanta, and finished outside the top 10, those 13 extra precious points may have made the difference for the Streak to the Finish Championship.

President Lou now has a 27 point lead over Bensonbdr23 and more importantly, an extra streak week. It's possible he could even clinch the Championship next week. The Championship gives a $25.00 gift card to NASCAR.com..... but Lou will waive that prize if he wins it himself. He will be very happy with a spot in the LROC Series in 2008 though!!

Four teams earned maximum points this week after picking Jimmie Johnson.
One of those teams was J Rods Hot Rods who extends his current streak to 4 weeks. He's hoping to end the season by tying his longest streak.

Lefflerfan also finally breaks his 3 week winless streak after picking Carl Edwards.
