Welcome back everyone! Hope the Easter holiday went well and that your back in gear for racing. Denny Hamlin took tops in his home state at Martinsville, Virginia. Good to see my favorite driver back in victory lane. Maybe I'll have to bid on one of his "Slow Things" on Ebay. In what happened to be a super close race for our "Doggers", it was Charquillia wrapping up another victory at the short track. In the Team Average category today we had the first 1st place team tie between SOCAL Sprint Car Association and Racing Traditions, Inc. SOCAL does only have 2 drivers compared to RTI's 4, but averages are averages and a great job to those teams this week. Leading the way for RTI was Matt Sealey in 5th, Nathan Helton in 8th, and Harry Jeffery in 9th for SOCAL. What was probably the most shocking of all was the Leader and last weeks winner Randy Cook Racing taking the worst position this week. Amazing what a mini vacation will do for you, just ask North Coast Racing who had a great average this week, making them the only mover this week. In the Overall Average its a 3 dog fight with RCR, 2Fast4U, and RTI all tied going into Texas.
So onto bigger and better things next week in the Lonestar State. Can the top teams still hold on or will one of those sleeper teams arise? We'll find out together On Sunday. Also look for a new "R.J.'s Team Talk" Monday evening on the Cup Series page.
