I may miss a couple races. I'll try to get Eli to make my picks. This morning a driver possibly drunk swruved in front of an SUV limo carring 2 of my EMS team members at 1:30 am. The driver who has chossen to run, clipped the limo and put it into a "barrel roll" killing 2 children and the limo driver. My friend will probably not survive and his wife's outlook is bleak at best, the children were his as well. His outlook is uncertain, as he hasn't regain consiousness either. Long story short I must leave town to "try" to cover the company. I can barely write this for obvious reasons. I'm in progress of updating my fantasy teams as a very small attempt to free my mind of this for a moment. Please those of you with my phone number refrain from calling me for a couple days. I know you will be concerned and I appreciate that. 4 of 7 people are gone in this wreck and I have alot on my mind. I will return but where I'm going is really "backwoods" so my may be out of touch PC probably, phone for sure. Shawda I'll relay your concerns to Lou when I recover as I know you have emailed him. yipee, I'm not leaving! Bummer though, ownly reason I'm not leaving is my buds wife requested that I be a pall bearer for the children. Our humble president bent due to the circumstances. The update is this: Both children toast. Their first and only grandson has now cashed in his chips as well. Driver who caused the incident has turned himself(20 years old) in. My friend....well, saw him today. IF he lives....he will never be the same man. Brain was swelling but has subsided somewhat but you see where I'm going here. Service is Sunday and I am honored to be picked and will do my part. In the meantime my work load tripled. No sweat I'm up to the challenge, as they know. Company is hurtin, I'm hurtin as are my friends. God help his wife. A little reminder folks, hug and kiss your wife or husband as soon as you see them everyday, Take a minute or two when your just to tired from work and hang with the kids for a little while at least if you can. Be nice, as I think god notices that. You may not see these people again tomorrow as getting out of bed is taking a chance. Love you guys.

Thanks Wendal and John and everyone who has sent me mail. It helps me. I'm fortunate to have all of y'all as friends. Thinks are better, but today the wakes start. Should be a very humble and tring weekend. Thanks again you guys. I'm more worried about my buds wife. She is still in shock.

Your Friends Wife with be in our thoughts and prayers this week-end. It's got to be hard -- I know it would be hard as hell if I ever lost Angie -- or one of my close friends -- You all hang in there ok.
I will say a prayer for you and all at the start of the race on Sunday.
We put the last of the children to rest today, first time I've ever seen him cry. Speed went to the North Carolina Mts. after the wake today. Might do him good. I very sorry and concerned about my husband. He said he'll be OK. I'm not sure. His departure was work related. He'll return Friday. I'm feeling so helpless.
