All-Star race coming up!

The Sprint Cup All-Star race is already upon us... how time files! It's a week from Darlington which gives just one more chance for a driver to win and get into it.

It's also the 5th Lucky Dog Racing All-Star Challenge as well. We have a full field of 30 drivers in already.... lots of different race winners from the past year. 2 more will be added from the top 2 finishers of the all-Star open race. We had 2 winners from that race have a large enough score to win the All-Star challenge as well.

Time is also running out to get your entry in for the Cash Challenge. Right now we have 11 drivers participating in it this year with a pot of $55.00. The winner of the Cash Challenge gets all the winnings, and it's only $5.00 to play.

so if i understand this right only 13 people will be in the nextel open with the top 2 going on to the all start race right

what is the history of rookies in the showdown on this site

Actually pretty good. Rookies won the race in 2005 and 2006.

You will be with the 12 other members who did not qualify for the race this year in the Lucky Dog Open race.

If your score is one of the top two scores, you will transfer into the all-star race.
