Our current Vice-President, Matt Sealey is deciding to step away from the position that he has held for the past couple of seasons. Matt has done an exemplary job in his tenure, however time constraints has forced him to relenquish it to someone else. I believe and hope he will stay remain as a council member since his voice of reason was one that I often looked to.
The league now searches for its third Vice-President and I am open to looking at anyone.
The applicant must a member of the league for at least 2 seasons and be familiar with the rules of all three series. I am also looking for someone that I can work well with as well. He/she should be innovative with new ideas that can benefit the league. Written articles on a periodic basis is a plus. The applicant should also be very active in the forum as well.
Also, hopefully the applicant will be able to take over running our myspace page as well. If you have experience in myspace and can update it on a weekly basis, it would be a big help. Unfortunately with all the weekly updates I do, I can't afford to update that page every week.
Matt has said he will remain as Vice-President until the end of the season if needed, but if we can find someone sooner than that, they can take over right away.

I hear what you are saying Lou, I'm just feeling like a smart a** this morning (LoL) I've had a damn cold for about 2 weeks and this is the first morning in those 2 weeks that I have some engry so, I'm using it. (LoL)
But, on a personal note I don't think that it would be conflict of interest because, we totally run different set up with the leagues and I would only look at the Lucky Dog Racing when ideas would come about. But, I do hear what you are saying.
Well, have a great week-end -- I just my 10 day Vaction tomorrow night at 10 PM and don't have to go to work until the 17th of June. Man, I can't wait.
Regrettably, it is time for me to step down and allow someone else the chance to help shape the future of this league. Although I wasn't clear to Lou, I would be glad to stay on as a Council Member and will continue to voice my opinion on any League matter. I think it is important to note that I am not stepping down in any negative manner at all. I have enjoyed my tenure and want to convey to any of you what a pleasure it was to serve and encourage any of you to take the initiative to take part. I will stay on till a replacement is found but urge you to step forward soon as my duties have begun to suffer with my kids getting older and becoming more active.
LOL well if Wendal could manage running his own league with all the work he does there, raising 2 kids, working, adding in what time he has for his personal life.... and then adding on the additional duties of acting as Lucky Dog's Vice-President, I would be floored.
Well we are not just taking a week to make a decision. We have a little while before we really need to get someone in. Plus another person did email me last night with interest in the position as well. We will consider all applicants before voting.
I would really like to get more involved in the league. Unfortunately, I have absolutley no MySpace experience. As for my knowledge of the leagues, I have been in all four leagues, Cup, Nationwide, Truck and LROC, so I am very familiar with them. I participate in all the polls and try to provide Lou with feedback whenever I see an issue. If you feel that I am not qualified for the Vice-President position, I would like to be considered for the open council seat. If you have any questions or comments for me, please post them. Thanks.
Thank You Jordan, I will take your application into consideration as well. You are at least very active on the board, so that's a plus! If we need to, we may just look into getting someone just to run the myspace site, while the vice-prez can handle the additional duties. But we'll look into all options.
i also would like to be considered for this job. i do know how series rules becuase i always score at home and check it to computer when i get on line next day. if i do get to be vp i will not disgrace the office.
lou i was in speech and debate in high school one of the events is student congress so you could say i have some knowledge on how things should go plus i know series rules.
First off I would like to thank you guys for even thinking I would be a good VP, but the more I thought about over the week-end. I really don't think that I would be a good choice for the VP Position due to the fact I'm only just starting with you guys and even tho I have read all your rules and etc -- it's such a different set up then I have with the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series.
I think that the Position should go to someone with the more experiece with the Lucky Dog Racing Leagues.
I have enjoyed myself this year in the Lucky Dog Truck Series & LROC Series you have a bunch of good guys over here Lou. It's great working with Both Lou and Steve you guys are great to work with. But, Lou if you do need any help on anything please let me know and I will see what I can do.
But, I think that just maybe if the FASCAR World gets the right software we could be on to different things in the Future. Because on a personal note, I miss running the FASCAR Redline Racing League due the fact this was the first league I started back in 2004 and with all the New Faces it sure would be fun to run it again.

thanks Wendal, nice reply! I enjoy working with you and Steve as well. I like what the LROC series has become since we first started out with it a couple of years ago. I'm anxious to see what direction it will go in the future.
