Does anybody else think that the racing this year is a little boring? I guess every Pocono race is usually boring, but I just seem to remember being on the edge of my seat more with the old car.
yes the COT has taken a lot of the racing away it seems. The Pocono races were never that exciting to begin with, but while this race wasn't the best in the world, I've seen worse races at Pocono. The first 70 laps or so were kind of just follow the leader, but it started to pick up as it went on. At least it provided some interesting strategy.
That is true..I am interested in seeing how the COT does at Michigan. That is a track that could where is could either way.....real boring spread out racing or maybe it will bunch the field up. It will be fun to watch.
the first part of the pocono race was horrible! the last part was good! replace 1 pocono race with another darlington! why cant the cars pass each other any more! they can catch each other but cant pass? lou did you get my e-mail with my probable picks? later teamate!
I did... so far they look good. I really haven't had a chance yet to look at picks for the week.... something's been keeping me kind of occupied.... hmm, what could that be? lol I'll check them out tonight though.
Well, I pretty much didn't even care to watch the Pocono race this week-end, and I'm alwayz ready for the Racing on Sunday or Saturday Nights but, we had Megan's B-day party on Sunday -- and I told the wife I don't even care if I miss the whole race it's just Pocono (LoL)
But of course I couldn't totally stay away LoL had to watch the last 20 Laps.
I think the COT will get better hopefully -- got to remember this is the first full year with the NEW Car. Maybe the 2nd half will be different. I hope
Pocono was boring even before the COT. I noticed the All Star race, Bristol last August, Dover and others have been ruined by the COT. I hope they improve on this car soon.
Didn't watch Pocono myself.....I hardly ever watch that one since they changed the rules with the transmission gears a few years back. That is the reason that race sucks.....it used to be pretty exciting at the end to see who would blow their tranny at the end of the race with all the shifting but they took that all out to become more 'cost effective'.
I don't think the new car affected Pocono like it did at Bristol.
