Once again, the race is boring. I am sure the last 5 laps will be exciting but I will not be around to see it. Anyone else notice all the empty seats in the stands? I think racing as we once knew it....is gone!

tell you what. I went to my local 1/3 mile oval, last night and had more racing in the 100 lap feature than this race today. But I have the Celtics to watch tonight.
I had 2 JR fans call me about lap 90 and wanted to go play golf. I guess Tooz liked the race cuz JR won. I wonder if his opinion would be different if JR had run out of gas and finished 30th? When attendance figures come out..I will show how many empty seats there were.

but it does figure.....Jr finally gets the win........and weather around here knocked the power out for about thirty minutes........just long enough for me to miss the finish!
Estimated attendance was 115,000 at a track that has 137000 seats. 22000 seats empty!!!

first off how many michigan races have been won on a gamble ? it is nowhere near one of my favorite tracks and never will be . i prefer to see more of a race as well not national league baseball , hit n run squeeze plays what have you second , how much can we attribute the low attendance to the economy ? and gas prices ?normally this time of year im already mapping out the football games im taking my boys to see in the fall and im wondering if im going to be able to even do that this year . i always try to take them to one panther game and one game**** game each fall and am not sure we will make it to either
