I never was a big Ainge fan. But he deserves a lot of the credit for bringing in players and sticking with Doc rivers. Maybe Kobe should call up Shaq! He could have used him last night. Kobe Sahq less ring less!!

I liked Ainge as a player, but his moves as the GM originally were very questionable. He finally stepped up this year to get Garnett, Allen, Posey, House, etc. I've been trying to tell Tooz ever since the season began, that Kobe sucks. He was true to form tonight. Other than the 1st quarter, his shots were way off.

Congrats to the Celtics.... I'm not really a b-ball fan, but that was one nasty blowout.

Okay, I have to give it up to Boston....they put it on my Lakers last night with a Capital Whup Ass! Their defense was remarkable, enough so to make the Lakers give up in the second half.

Even when the Lakers were down in the third, I really wasn't worried, I knew what they are capable of in a hot streak. But when the 4th quarter started and the only starter out on the floor was Odom????? I blew my lid!!! If you are that far down in an elimination game in the NBA Finals, you play the whole 48 minutes if you have too!!!!

Last night all I kept thinking was we are really missing Bynum. And lo and behold that is all the commentators are talking about today. I know alot of you think Bynum is too young, but look how red hot he came out at the beginning of the season....he was an all-star shoo in until he got hurt in January.

Eventhough the Lakers were the #1 seed in the West and are probably the second youngest team in the league behind Portland, I still say some changes need to be made. Odom....out. Radmonivich.....out. Turiaf.....out. Bring in a proven small forward that can score when asked to who is also decent on defense. Farmar needs to get the starting nod over Fisher next year. Bynum, Gasol, Artest, Farmar, and Bryant? That sounds pretty good to me. (one thing's for sure, we won't get help in the draft this year)

Once again, congrats to the Celtics and all their LOUD fans! Pierce deserved the Finals MVP, but a case could have been made for Ray Allen as well, even if I don't like the guy.

And yes, Kobe disappointed me in Game 6, up until that point, I knew Boston was smothering him and his hands were tied, but last night, it seemed like his heart wasn't in it.....he reminded me too much of Odom. I'm sure it was a one night fluke, but why did it have to happen on elimination night. (in my heart I know that if the Lakers could have gotten a victory in game 6, then game 7 would have been a whole different ball game)

Bottom Line, Celtics wanted it more than the Lakers this year and they showed it.

Finally the Lakers-Celtics may have a renwed rivalry, because both teams look good for next year. The Lakers need to improve their bench. That is where the Celtics came up huge. Odom and Radmonovich needs to go somewhere else. Odom has not lived up to the hype that he had when he came out of college. Until they get more help from Kobe, that bum is going to have to carry the team.
