Streak To The Finish Standings - Daytona

Hey joe, whaddya know!  We have a new points leader after joesgot4 becomes the third different member to tie the all-time record of 8 weeks in a row. Nice job! Troy chose Kurt Busch who had a nice 4th place finish in the race and moved past Lefflerfan who went the Tony Stewart route.

Troy is now on top for the first time ever and leads Lefflerfan by 13 points. Now comes the big test. Can Troy become the first person to crack 9 weeks? Can he make streak history by cracking the record, or will it end once again at the 8 barrier? Well he can't pick Tony Stewart, so he'll probably be in good shape.

A number of players were burned by Stewart this week as the curse continued this week for ol' smoke. Maybe he'll have better luck at Chicagoland where he won last year. One of theose players was xrays who was also trying to tie the record. Ray got burned this week as did 8 other players... ouch.

Just 7 members picked a top 10 driver this week. President Lou picked Bowyer who was just able to finish in the top 10 to bring his season high to 6 weeks. He currently has the 2nd longest streak going.

Now it's Chicagoland where the picking should be a bit easier than Daytona. We'll see.....

I knew I was in trouble the second I heard JJ Yeley's name mentioned! I came so close to picking Dale Jr too.
