Q: How do I get those really cool looking pictures next to my name?

Those pictures are called avatars and will show up under your name on every post your make.

To create or change your avatar, click on user details. On the left side menu under profile, click on Avatar.

If you already have an Avatar being used, it will show your current one there. You also have the opportunity to upload additional ones that you can use other times.

If you select on choose an avatar, it will take you to a library of images that Sparklit (the company that hosts this forum) provides.

If none of those strike your fantasy, you can search for one anywhere else on the internet. Once you have found one you like, you can save it to your computer then pick "upload an avatar".  The largest size that an avatar can be is 150x150. If your avatar is too big, it will be resized. Keep this in mind if you choose a picture that doesn't look too good small.

If you don't want to upload an avatar, you can link to one that you have saved on another site like Photobucket or Flickr. Just put in the url of your saved avatar and it will link to it.

Please note, avatars can not be crude or vulger. The moderator has the right to remove any avatar that he does not see fit.
