Streak To The Finish Standings - California

Looks like we're gonna have a wild race throughout the Chase in the streak standings this year. Last year it was pretty much a 2 man show with one person leading and another doing the chasing.

This year three members are all within a few points of each other with the lead changing every week or so. Last week Bensonbdr23 took the lead after both Lefflerfan and joesgot4 missed picking a top 10 driver.

Now this week Bensonbdr decided to try his luck with Jeff Gordon who has had his problems this year. That held up again this week as Gordon finished outside the top 10 and Bensonbdr had his three week streak end.

Joesgot4 picked race winner Jimmie Johnson while Lefflerfan picked Carl Edwards. Both went by Bensonbdr23 and pushed him back to third. All three members are within 5 points of each other.

Furth back in 4th place is President Lou who also picked Johnson. He's 39 points behind Bensonbdr23 and could possibly be mixing it up with the three top guys in the next couple of weeks.

Lately its been hard for everyone to get a long streak going. President Lou and scrbowler currently have the longest streaks with just 3 weeks.

Jimmie Johnson was the most popular pick this week with 8 of the 15 players taking him this week. Only one person missed picking a top 10 driver and paid the price by losing the lead.
