H E L L YEA ! that was a great game . glad to see running game doing what they intended . williams and stewart looked interchangeable all day ! how bout jarrett looking like a real receiver ? he did drop two good passes but i'll give him a pass on the touchdown drop cus he got drilled ! look out didvision foes !
everyone was picking the bears to go around 5-11 and now all of a sudden they think they can challenge for the Division title starting with whipping Carolina this Sunday.
It's very funny to watch how these people support and turn on their teams with whichever way the wind blows on any given day....reminds me alot of Philly to be honest.
Either way, when Carolina is 2-0 on Monday all will see what we already know. (I really don't think Chicago will put up any kind of fight against the Panthers)
and here's why:
They have looked dreadful in all of the Practices and preseason games leading up to this point. They ran the ball on Indy.......a team known for letting itself get punched in the mouth with the run. Carolina won't let that happen. Urlacher and co. will not be able to handle a North/South runner like Stewart...they never have. Orton, while better than last year's guy, will make a costly mistake when trying to gamble with a long pass (much like last year's guy). Bears coaching staff will not have entire offseason to prepare for a team with a busted up O-line and QB who is rusty. They will have week to get ready for a proficient passer with a rather large O-line. In the end, John Fox's crew will be much more physical and hungry for the win than the over-achieving complacent bears.
