Well we finally have some long streaks going now after a time when most of the league didn't have more than a 2 week streak going.
Ice and President Lou now have a 5 week streak going after both picked Denny Hamlin this week. It was a little tense there at the end of the race after Hamlin pitted twice to put himself out of the top 10. Luckily he was able to make it back in, barely. He finished in 9th place, but more importantly extended the streak of those two members plus three more who also went the Hamlin route.
Lou moved into a tie with jeffjoeracing for third place. ICE moved up three spots to 9th place.
The standings leader, Lefflerfan extended his streak to 3 weeks after picking Kevin Harvick who finished right behind Hamlin for 10th place. Talk about cutting it close. He was able to put just three points on Bensonbdr23 who is chasing him in 2nd place. Bensondr23 took Tony Stewart this week.
Overall it was a pretty good week for the streakers. Out of the 17 members who made picks, just 3 missed this week. They picked Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth.
Well with a number of members approaching the higher streak counts, in a couple of weeks things could get interesting both in the standings and breaking records.
