A while back I posted some pictures of my "Earnhardt Room" and I wanted to share with everyone some cool news. While I continue to search around for Earnhardt Collectables and seeing what others do with their collections, I stumbled on this site www.mancavesite.org and have joined Mike Yosts circle of Cavers. My Earnhardt Room is featured for the month of October in The Cave Spot Light.
Mike started the site this year and it has really taken off and while it still relatively new it has gotten a lot of hits in the short time its been up and is one of the top sites on Google for that genre. The primary motive to the web site is to have a place where folks can share their ideas and resources to help each other or motivate someone wanting to start theirs. It is growing pretty fast and I invite you all to visit the sites and check out what others are doing and if you have one of your own, please contact them and share what you have.
It was really cool to see other creations and soon learned ManCaves are all over the place and much talked about like Tim Repass from www.mancavegroup.com where his ManCave was filmed by HGTV.Man Cave n. A dedicated area of a house, such as a basement, workshop, or garage, where a man can be alone or socialize with his friends.

I wanted to share something with everyone that has had me excited the past month, I didn't want to jinx myself but there is some stuff steam rolling and I wanted to share them.
Several weeks ago, my Man Cave a.k.a. The Earnhardt Room was scouted by a Corporate Event Producer for Kenwood Group contacted on behalf of their clients, Symantec & VMWare. They wanted to license the use of a couple photos of my Man Cave for an expo production they put together.
Their script said create an entertaining and engaging format for a keynote presentation on virtualization given by two Symantec executives and VMWare .It has to do with some security software and they planned to do a rip off of sorts on the TV Show Home Improvement and Tim The Tool Man Taylor.
Two other deals are in the works right now, one is a book about Man Caves and The Earnhardt Room as of today is talked about being the cover feature. The other deal is BIG, like NBC TV type BIG but I'll share those details later if things continue to head in that direction but the Executive Producer have made contact and there is a chance of something cool happening soon.
More later
