I mean I like Harvick, but it was clearly his fault. He shouldnt have been bump drafting up into the corner. Johnson should be happy he didn't get much damage on his car. However, the Rusty Wallace, Joe Nemechek and Mark Martin are gonna be saying some interesting things to him this weekend. It's bad enough when you create something stupid in a race, and then you go home and see everyone next week. That's not the case with Daytona, you'll be seeing those guys for the next three days. I'd keep a low profile if I were Harvick.
gimme a break, i mean, im not a Harvick fan at all really (not consistent enough), but what happened to 'Rubbin' is Racin'? if you watched closely at the shootout, you would have seen everyone bump drafting in the Tri-Oval....even the commentators made mention of it.
Did he time it wrong? maybe so...........should he be vilified as he is? definately not!
why complain about going to the backup car? most teams put just as much work into the backup as they do the primary car for this very reason.
C'mon....like you said "rubbin is racing" until someone goes into a wall. I really don't think Jimmie is one of those I'll pass you when I bump you out of the way. Kevin and JJ cleared the air no big between those two but with the others we'll see. Its Daytona! No such thing as friends when it comes to winning this thing. Its gonna be fantastic...I have the cooler out already with the Sams on ice for the big day tomorrow.
