John, the Claim Jumper is a bonus option that allows you to pick one bonus driver, who happens to be in top 35 in the Cup series. You can only choose that driver as a bonus option once in the season, but you can pick them as a regular driver in other races.
There is a page that is posted that allows you to track which drivers you've used throughout the season.

Thanks...does this Bonus Driver replace another driver or is it added points? I guess the question I am asking is....should I be picking one? Thanks

No, it's added points....   sure, you pick one. You just have to strategize them and space them out. It might help if you have a lot of good ones left late in the year when a lot of people have used theirs up.
