dale jr

i'll start off...i'm not a dale jr fan..but i feel like he's getting bashed to much over this incident with vickers on sunday.  with the exception of chocolate myers, the whole serius satellite nascar personality's and callers pulled jr's pants down and spanked his behind today.  it was ridiculous!  of course it was a silly move and could have been avoided but i wonder if jr had held his ground and not went below the yellow line to start with and let vickers just drive down into him and wrecked out if all the attention wouldn't be how stupid a move that vickers pulled insted of jr.  i also wonder if vickers was a more experienced driver if he could have not pulled out of that....kyle bush done everything he could do saturday to wreck tony stewart on the last lap but stewart kept control of the car...he done the same thing to todd bodine friday night...but bodine kept control of the truck. eventually if nascar keeps penalizing these drivers for going below the yellow line even when they go down to avoid wrecking someone out then this is whats going to happen.  they are going to start holding their ground and letting the other driver come down into them and spin thereselves out.  what's everyone elses opinion?

The only thing I have to say about this is pay back is a b**ch isn't it Vickers -- Talladega come to mind Vickers -- when you took out Dale Jr & your teammate Jimmie Johnson.

i have to agree with Wendall . im sure Dega flashed into Jrs mind as he was braking down and said screw this punk . again they were only fightin for the lucky dog and that is what makes it ridiculous ! vickers should have stayed high and let whatever happen . in my opinion he initiated the confrontation and then whined cuz jr spun him out and i too believe a better driver would have saved the car . i saw quite a few drivers lose their cars when things got hairy on sunday actually but thats a whole other story

Make all the excuses you want but jr stunk the place out all day. But what the heck my guy won!!! Jr needs to worry less about what every one expects him to do and drive the damm car. He loses more races in the pits. Either his fault or the crew.

I will agree with you there John, Jr. does lose ALOT of ground in the pits year in and year out.

I honestly don't think Eury Jr. is the man for the job.

But bad day or not, Vickers just got what he deserved for starting it..........if you want to make a 'man' move, then you have to be able to react and speak like a 'man' afterwards.
