Well, it finally happened... After more than 2 years, someone finally broke the 8 week streak. We thought we might have had it last week with Tooz, but one week later JT Motorsports was able to pull through and take his Nationwide streak to 9 weeks. He also just barely was able to do it too because he picked Brian Vickers who finished in 10th. He gains 46 points from the Nationwide race and should be able to move another spot in the standings this week. Now JT will have to wait until the next Nationwide race and see if he can become the first person to hit double digits.
TCB Racing picked race winner Matt Kenseth to extend his current streak to 7 weeks. He also now takes over the standings lead from Tooz as well.
quebecois fan and JG4TMR were both tied for the third most points this week as they both score 40.
Two members picked race winner Matt Kenseth, TCB Racing and racingfan8. Only Lefflerfan missed picking a top 10 driver after he was burned by Kyle Busch at the end.
Well the big winner of the week was TCB Racing for two reasons.... First he scored the most points out of all member this week, a whopping 86 points from his Nationwide and Cup picks. TCB Racing matched the all-time Cup streak of 8 weeks, which is now the 2nd most total weeks between all three series thanks to JT Motorsports this week. TCB has 8 weeks in Cup and 7 weeks in Nationwide.
The second reason why he was the big winner is that he now takes over the standings lead. He zooms past Tooz and now leads him by 67 points. He'll look to extend his Truck series streak next weekend and gain some more points. He currently has a 5 week streak going there.
After breaking the 8 week barrier with his ninth week in the Nationwide series, JT Motorsports gained the 2nd most points, 59 in total. He moves up two spots in the standings to 3rd place.
The third most points for the week was 51 recorded by JG4TMR who moves up 1 spot to 5th place.
Nobody picked race winner Mark Martin in the Cup race but Crossmen did pick 2nd place finisher Jimmie Johnson. Jeff Gordon was the most popular pick this week. Three member failed top pick a top 10 driver after they went with Kyle Busch.
