Josh Yost jackman for Jeff Burton was hit during pit stops Sunday and has fractures in the lower partof his right leg. He was released from a Birmingham hospital Sunday nite. Looks like some off time for Mr. Yost. Hope he heals soon.

its confirmed, Yost will be out for the year now. after surgery, the doctors realized the scope of his injury.
sidenote - after the race, Burton approached Wallace to let him know what had happened which Rusty knew nothing about (his crew didnt tell him so he wasn't distracted), at first he denies doing it and then Jeff shows him on videotape and suggests to him that he call the Jackman in the hospital to check on him and maybe apoligize.
as of 6:30 pm last night, Rusty had yet to do so. (i guess if you're not a driver, you don't get the same consideration)
I can't help but throw yet another did you know at ya. Ned Yost manager of the Milwaukee Brewers is his father. To much triva bouncing around in my head. *Note. Rusty has always been a piece of work. He has always had the biggest potty-mouth on the air waves. Don't let your children log him in on your scanners.

supposedly, Rusty was actually watching the same show i was last night and he called Marty Smith up and told him he has actually been trying all week to reach the jackman (his side of the story).
i thought it was funny that the drivers watch Nascar Nation along with us fans.
