Owner and President Lou Demian announces that Intimidator Racing, Inc. has amicably parted ways with R.J. Palmer after the Pocono 500 this weekend. "We thank R.J. and wish him well in his future endeavors " Lou Demian commented. R.J. found victory lane for the first time with IRI last season. He also recorded 4 top 5's and 9 top 10's.
Effective with the Michigan race, R.J. will return to his single car team, Rednex Motorsports but remains open to one day joining with another multi-car team or perhaps leading his own.
On the positive side, Intimidator Racing, Inc. is also proud to announce that effective at Michigan Intl. Speedway, Larry Scroggins has agreed to come aboard as the new 4th car. Owner Lou Demian is quoted as saying "We are excited to bring Larry Scroggins to our team and can only hope that we can help Larry continue the success that's he's had this season. We also hope that Larry and rest of Intimidator Racing, Inc. can rekindle the success that we found last season."
Larry Scroggins will bring his #43 Pabst Blue Ribbon Chevy to the team. Larry has had great success with it this year in one of his best seasons. Larry is currently third in the standings with a 2nd and 3 rd place finish this year. He is also tied with the most top 10's as well.
i would like to thank rj palmer for being my teamate and wish him well whatever direction he goes! no one will ever take away the championship that we won and i took credit for! i will try to do better this year as i have been in the cellar most of the season! if i can help lou,larry, and gwen go to the top it would be a victory as sweet as last year! Thank you guys for the kind words, with that I am now in the process of looking for a team to complete the season with. I know im having an off year but check the stats and you'll see im capable of some pretty good finishes in the Cup Series. If anyone is interested please send me a PM.
