Who says 13 is unlucky? It sure wasn't for JT Motorsports who keeps his Nationwide streak alive yet again for another week. Jessy took Justin Allgaier this time who finished in the top 10. The Nationwide series may be the hardest series to keep a streak alive in, especially now with these stand alone races, yet JT keeps getting it done. Too bad he can't find the same success in the Cup and Truck series or he'd be putting up some major numbers up each week. This week he records a total of 82 points, third most for the week.
The number one spot belongs to Lefflerfan who scored 107 points. Stephen was the only person to pick 2 race winners this week after picking Logano in the Nationwide series and Braun in the Truck series. He and JG4TMR keep their Truck streaks alive and still remain perfect for the year as they stretch it to 9 weeks. JG4TMR also recorded the 2nd most points this week with 88.
We have some long streaks going with JT's 13 week streak and the 9 week streaks in the Trucks, but we saw a long streak end this week as quebecois fan's Nationwide streak ended at 10 weeks. That gives JT a little more breathing room since there won't be anyone right behind him to overtake his record once it ends.
Next week is another triple streak week so we'll see what happens with JT's record.... who will he take in the Nationwide series to bring it to 14 weeks? Will the 2 Truck streaks make it to double digits? Find out next weekend!
