The council voted on a change for when a new team starts up during the season. Before, they would start with 0 points giving them a great advantage since half the teams were in the negative points.

Therfore, we decided that we would take the points that lowest team in the standings had up to the point when the new team would start and give all teams that amount of positive points. Before Michigan, Intimidator Racing, Inc. had -36 points when Outcast racing started.  We gave everyone 36 points to bring Intimidator Racing, Inc. to 0 which would start Outcast Racing at the back.

This kept the points differential the same between all the existing teams, it would just start Outcast Racing behind them.

We believe this is the most fair way for all the teams that have run all the races this year.  After Infineon Outcast Racing gained 11 points so they already moved past a few teams already.

The new points are updated so you can take a look at them.

These points do not affect driver points, it's just team points.

Also, the record for most points scored in a season will only count without the readjustment points added in.
