Craven & Tide to take over for Martin?

Tide to Roush? hearing that Tide could be the new sponsor for the #6 Roush Racing Ford in 2006, leaving the #32 PPI Motorsports team [Bobby Hamilton Jr. driver] at the end of the season. Mark Martin currently drives the #6 and is retiring from full-time Nextel Cup racing after 2005 [supposedly going full-time Truck Series racing] and Pfizer/Viagra is in it's fifth year of sponsoring the #6 team. As rumored, Ricky Craven could be reunited with Tide and take the wheel of the #6 Ford in 2006. Craven ran the Tide colors from 2001 thru late 2004 with PPI Motorsports.(5-17-2005)

I guess Tide is getting mighty fed up over Hamilton Jr's performance. Can't blame them. He was good in a Busch car but sucks in the Cup series. However, a new team might do him so good as well. Craven is doing good in the Truck series, maybe he has some renewed confidence to compete again in the Cup Series.

Read that Tide plans to honor their contract thru 2006 with PPI.
