Im a Hendrick fan, with that being said, What happened in the Open is what is wrong with NASCAR. It what other sport could someone do that, imagine Jordan getting tackled and it being ok. Its a joke, you DQ Vickers and give the win to Bliss. And dont give me this "its racing crap" thats a redneck excuse. Horses race and when they interfere they are dqed, track and field guys race but are they allowed to trip their opponent? Nascar has way too many incidents like this along with all of those stupid rules that are changed week to week.
if Vickers could have gotten his front bumper even with Bliss's rear quarter panel, i could see how it would be a 'racing deal'. but he didnt. I agree that he should have been DQ'ed and Bliss should have been in the All-Star. It just seemed like Vickers had a horseshoe planted somewhere on him with that finish, no disqualification, misses the big wreck, inverted high up, and then to finish third.
