#8 Crew Chief Candidates: The two men most prominently mentioned yesterday as candidates [to be #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s new crew chief] were Jimmy Elledge, who is Earnhardt's brother-in-law [married to Kelley] and also crew chief for Chip Ganassi and #41-Casey Mears, and Robbie Reiser, crew chief for 2003 champion #17-Matt Kenseth and owner Jack Roush.(Winston Salem Journal)(5-27-2005)

I hope they get it together soon. I'd prefer Mr. Gordon whip them when they're at full strengh. When ever that will be.

i bet it will be Steve Hmiel for about 4-5 races, and then a sleeper pick that no one has even mentioned as of yet.

i hope they get reiser i dont want them takin my boys cheif lol i like casey mears i dont want them messin him up i do not like jr. he wrecked my guy at vegas on lap 15 wtf its a 400 lap race or sumthin not 15
