Stewarts Pit Crew

Hey I was wondering if anyone noticed a crew member shining an LED light onto the lugnut area during his tire changes? After I saw it, I was checking other pit crews and saw no one else doing it. Maybe it was a reflection but I saw it on both left sides...Please let me know if anyone saw it....thanks

Yep, it was a light attached to his helmet, kinda like the lights coal miners attached to their hard hats...

I think most if not all pit crew members use lighted helmets for night races, or at least the tire changers.

that dude Hollywood did a piece on it a few weeks ago and showed the difference between having it and not. he said its up to the tire changer but is allowed so he took advantage. have rarely noticed it during pitstop though
