We go out to do laundry today and on our way back we end up getting rear ended by a flat bed truck while stopped at a red light. An auto Body flat bed truck no less.
Luckily we were ok, although my wife's back is starting to bug her a little bit now, not sure if its related to the accident or not. So is mine too.
Her car is smashed up in the back, can't even open the trunk.
Oh well, could be worse I suppose. At least it won't cost us anything, just the insurance deductable up front.
We spoke to the owner of the auto body shop on the phone and he said he would fix the car for free, but we drove by the shop afterwards, and its this little rinky dink shop in the bad part of town. The garage isn't marked with any sign or anything, we just went by the address, so I dont think so.
The truck that hit us is from an auto body shop in New Brunswick.
We're not going to him because we also decided that if he fixes it for free, he wants to avoid going through the insurance, and he'll probably do a half-ass job just to get it done.
We'll get an estimate down at a couple of shops that the insurance company recommended.
