 Just had lunch with a man named Reed Sorenson. Man this guy has the world by the short and curlies. What a humble guy!! I'm a fan. Pictures are available. I got a tough life. Whats up?? I don't post and the board goes silent??

It's all good labonte. Reeds a local boy from McDougan Ga. just south of Atlanta. He's a young'un. Very humble guy. Knows the world just shined on his parade. His mom's house is about 45 miles from mine. Had some racing friends in town how do security at most the east coast races and Reed and them just kinda hooked up. Total shock to me. Hard to get me speechless.. but man. I was kinda in awe.

then he had to tell you about his plans to switch to DEI's four car team.......Jr., Truex, Sorenson, and Menard..........lol.

Ha, that would be a sweet team wouldnt it?


Well 3 of them could possibly be on a 4 car DEI team, but Sorenson will stay with Ganassi, replacing Casey Mears in the #41, maybe even next season.

The subject did come up about cup. All he would say.." is I'm talking with some folks" I ask him if the #40 might be in his future and he just smiled.

I think Stremme is tabbed to take over the #40.  Sorenson isn't 21 yet, so he can't have Coors as a sponsor.


They may even make an announcement this weekend about Stremme, but I wouldnt be surprised to see Sorenson in the #41.

Been hereing that too. I think Stremme would be a HUGE mistake. I personnal don't think he's ready. Next year the cautions should rise. lol

Stremme not ready? he has out performed his teammate all year and he is more seasoned than Sorenson.
