Qualifying made me smile tonight....My guys are starting 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, and 10th!
Of the 20 teams that picked Ringers for their Superstars, 3 went with Fellows (I'm sorry, hehehe), 5 went with Pruett (the smart bunch), and 12 went with Said (the supposedly safe bet). What I don't understand is using up someone like Gordon or Martin at this race......while they do run well here, they also run well at other tracks that the Ringers will not be at.
I believe Jr. is the darkhorse this weekend.....his road course racing has progresssively gotten better and he is in the car that Waltrip finished in 4th last year.
As for not picking Jeff, I'm hoping his recent troubles outweigh his usual good finishes at road courses. He got the pole but he even admitted that he might not lead the first lap since JJ is on the front row with him.
i dont get it? people pick pruett, said or fellows and dont even use any of them as superstars doesnt make much sense since they will only race twice this year, besides Said but who would use him as a superstar on a oval track?
