4 Head Coaches and NO DIRECTION!

That's the state of the Chicago Bears these days.  This once very proud organization and original NFL franchise has hit some very hard times under the direction of Jerry Angelo, the present G.M.

Lovie Smith now has three former head coaches on his staff and the talk of the town is how this is a lame duck situation and no one has any clue as to how to right the ship.

Offensive Line coach - Mike Tice (formerly of Minnesota)
Offensive Coordinator - Mike Martz (formerly of St. Louis)
Defensive Coordinator - Rod Marinelli (formerly of Detroit)

Let's look at the records:

Smith     - 52-44
Tice        - 32-33
Martz     - 92-56
Marinelli - 10-38

TOTAL   - 186-171

Hardly an all-star crew to say the least.  It should be mentioned that after each of these guys left their perspective jobs, there was tons of uncertainty and lack of talent on roster.  (Minnesota only got better after Childress started to get better players on staff).

It should also be mentioned that Martz and Marinelli worked together before.......and we saw how that turned out.

Sorry Chicago, another year of suffering will ensue until this lot and Angelo are all fired after next year!

Would have never have guessed that Denver would get the better end of that trade. Doesn't matter who the coach is if Cutler keeps throwing to the other teams defense!
