Just wanted to alert everyone that I have switched to a new email that will be used for picks only. I was using Yahoo but I noticed there has been some problems with late emails coming through for the Bud Shootout. One member submitted picks and it didn't show up in my box until almost 2 days later! A few member submitted picks the earlier in the day before the deadline but didn't show up until late that night.
Using a recommendation by our vice-president, I created a gmail account. The email is luckydogracing21704@gmail.com It's been fixed on the forms so you won't even notice the change but I may reply to you from time time with that address. Hopefully this should fix the lateness problems. I ran some tests and most of the emails showed up in less than a second, so that's good.
I have a question. Why don't you create an email under your domain name? In P10 the email address I collect picks with is entries@p10select.com. Would be really simple for you to do the same by creating and entries@luckydogracing.com.
Each form emails me based on the league name which is put in the subject line and then I sort the emails coming to me by the subject and all are put into seperate folders based on that criteria. Very simple and efficient.
Yeah I believed I tried doing that at one point but had some problems along the way, I forget what they were though, lol. Gmail seems to be doing well though, I keep a handy button on my taskbar that I can access very quickly.
