Ok, its that time of year again. Once again, I am laying out the challenge to all Cup Series members. This is the third or fourth year I am doing this and as of yet, no one has been able to accomplish this feat. Hey, its supposed to be challenging! LOL. I hope this won't be one of those contests that is never won. I am seriously hoping someone does win it and just think of how prestigious it will be when someone does pull it off! So without further ado, I once again present to you people: The Lucky Shot 5!
This is the LUCKY SHOT 5. The Lucky Shot 5 is inspired by Winston's old Incentive program for winning the Crown Jewels of Nascar. It was known as the Winston Million or later on as the Winston No Bull 5. In that program, drivers received cash prizes for winning select races in the same season. You can read all about it here at this address: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winston_No_Bull_5
The Lucky Shot 5 will have five races included in the program. Those races will be: Daytona 500 ---------------- Daytona Beach Dodge Avenger 500 --------- Darlington USG Sheetrock 400 --------- Chicago Centurion Boats at the Glen - Watkins Glen Chevy Rock-n-Roll 400 ------ Richmond
Any driver in the Cup League who manages to pull off a victory in all five races in one season will receive from myself a $50.00 gift certificate from Nascar.com. This will give us all something to shoot for. There will also be lesser consolation prizes as well for getting close to this very hard goal.
Win all five of the Lucky Shot 5's races in one season........$50.00 gift cert.
Win four of the Lucky Shot 5's races in one season...........$30.00 gift cert.
Win three of the Lucky Shot 5's races in one season.........$20.00 gift cert.
Win a Career Lucky Shot 5 (win all five races over the course of your career).....$40.00 gift cert. (currently, the most victories anyone has of these races is 2 for their career)
Top 5 Consolation: Score a Top Five in all five Lucky Shot 5 races during one season and receive a T-shirt with your Race Team Logo on it.
