Baseball's Katrina

I just heard that the Commissioner was not going to reverse the call that cost that young man a perfect game. I know all the die hards will say thats baseball...but when an obvious wrong has been committed and there is a way to correct it...we must do so. Its hard to believe that out society has gone so far backwards, that doing whats right doesnt count anymore....just my thoughts....and...I am an Orioles fan (worse team in baseball) so I have no dogs in this fight.

at first, I agreed with everything you are saying John, but on ESPN news they were saying that could have far reaching conseqeunces.

Once you reverse this call, every player who has ever been wronged whether it be a Balk, HR called foul, Doulble Play could be overturned. And that isn't just today's game, but games thirty and fourty years ago could be adjusted.

Would that make common sense no, but Selig would have been setting the precedent to allow it to happen in the future.

As long as Instant Replay gets fully instated, I'll be happy.

And besides at least GM gave him a Corvette for his troubles!
