Three different races at three different tracks and a new season record set. That's what week 16 brings us in the streak to the finish. Lefflerfan has reached double digits with his Nationwide streak after stretching it to 10 weeks thanks to his pick of Reed Sorenson. That's a new record for the season which breaks the 9 week mark that Miller Motorsports set a few weeks ago.
That ties Lefflerfan with Quebecois Fan for the 2nd longest all-time streak. He'll need 5 more weeks to tie the all-time streak of 15 weeks set by JT Motorsports last year.
Since he was able to extend his streak and his other 2 streaks to 2 weeks each, Lefflerfan gained the most points for the week with 86. He now has a 40 point lead over xrays who moved back to 2nd place.
Quebecois Fan took the 2nd most points for the week with 82. He has the 2nd longest NW streak going with 8 weeks. Should Lefflerfan make a mistake, he'll be eager to take the record over.
3rd most points goes to President Lou with 79 points. His Cup streak went to 3 weeks, NW streak to 5 weeks and Truck streak to 2 weeks.
Overall it was a pretty big points weekend for a lot of members this week. Only 4 members missed picking a top 10 driver in the Cup series, 2 in the Truck series and just 1 in the Nationwide series. 12 members were successful in all three races.
Next week all three are in action again so we'll see what happens.
