Yeah that pretty much did in his chances. Unless he has a top 5 at the Glen, wins at Bristol and Richmond, and has top 10 run's at California and Michigan... well, just start getting ready for next year.
I remember when his year was 'over' earlier this year and he battled right back into contention in just three weeks. You guys have got to give the boy some credit, when the chips are down, he's usually at his best.

well last time i checked 8th was better than 10th anyways u probally wish u could say the same thing about DEI 16th,42nd and 43rd super team huh lol im sorry waltrip wont be there next year so 42nd and 43rd hell of a team. JR did improve this year on taking out his teamates and friends
never said DEI was a dominant team this year. lets see, Jr. is booted by Skinner and then gets into Truex..........how did either driver do anything to get themselves out of the race?
