Well of course all our vacations have NASCAR related things it seems....
In addition to Myrtle Beach, we will be stopping at a lot of the race shops in NC on the way back home. 2 years ago we visited DEI, Hendrick, Yates, RCR, Penske and a couple other shops. It was pretty cool. This time we'll probably go back to those shops but also want to see the new Penske shop, Ganassi, and Petty's shop too.
If I convince the wife, we might head up to Darlington Raceway which isn't too far from Myrtle Beach. We'll check out the shop and there's a museum there as well.
And there's always NASCAR Cafe in Myrtle Beach as well.
if Darlington is in the cards, please get a pic of D.W.'s flipped and rolled ride that used to sit right in the front of the museum. (dont know if its still there or not).
