NASAR is really gone off the deep end. They force drivers and teams into a do or die situation and then want them to drive like a bunch of panseys. What is a driver to do see a guy coming up thats in the chase and move over? Thats not racing. I have to give Jammie credit after his season is screwed the reporters are there as he climbs out and he put a positive spin on something that had none. They should give these guys a break and stay out of there faces for a little bit. On a better note "Me of little faith" had counted my boy Ryan out and he suprised me. I really thought Jeff was going to knock him out. But im happy I was wrong. Have a good Sunday no race I guess I will have to finish painting my garage.
Yeah, that's the one situation that I don't like regarding the chase.... Making drivers nervous about getting caught up with one of the chase drivers.
And you know... NASCAR says they will penalize non-chase drivers if they intentionally get into another driver trying to make the chase.... I say big deal..... penalizing that driver isn't gonna do jack.
Just take this for example... Take a team like Hendrick who has 4 cars in the field. Busch and Vickers are already out of it, so it doesn't matter what happens to them in the race basicly. But say they had orders to take McMurray and Newman out of the race to help Gordon get in it. NASCAR would penalize Busch and Vickers, but would they do anything to Gordon? I doubt it. If NASCAR decides that a team member intentionally took another car out, NASCAR should also penalize that team member trying to make it in.
Oh well... nothing like that happened yesterday, but it could in the future.
Yeah, no race today, but its football time! I'm happy I can watch the Giants home opener without having to switch back and forth.
had friends over last night to watch the race. my buddy's wife who knows nothing of Nascar......(never even heard of Dale Jarrett)..........saw the interview with JMac and asked in all sincerity was he gay?
first of all they never said move over they said dont intentionally wreck them or wreck anyone causeing chase drivers to be caught up in it they never said let the drivers go and race behind them i hate it when ppl want the guys to wreck each other
No one said anything about wreaking anyone. Im saying NASCAR changes the rules. Example. 88 takes out the 12, on purpose no dicussion, the 29 is taken out his chanches for the chase just about gone. What happened to the 88 1 lap held in the pits. McMurry is taken out, was not done on purpose, black flag 5 laps. And bobo dont go getting all upset dicussions are just that. Every one has different opions. But thats what makes life interesting.
