Hurricane Rita

Some might know and some might not, but I live just north of Houston.  Hurricane Rita is knocking on my front door.  Last night I was like pack the truck and car and lets get the heck out of here.  Today since it has moved off some to the east towards LA, we are going to try and ride it out here at our home.  I have been in contact with Lou and keeping him abreast of whats going on.  So keep my family and this part of the country in your prayers.  Good Luck to all on the Gulf Coast.

you can count on it BJ. Take care of you and yours. I will put you on my mothers prayer list. We may be in Yankees country Boston now but she is a New Orleans girl and I am sure her prayers got all our famely in St. Bernard Parshish thru so she will help you.
Keep us updated here.

Praying

Praying is what I do best and I'll put in a word or two for everyone in the gulf coast.

For those in the northeast, we are blessed not to be worried about any of these kinds of natural disasters.  We only have to fear some other people instead.

I and many others in Houston thank you for your prayers.  We got power and cable back yesterday.  As I feel guilty the hurricane didn't hit us, it did hit many neighbors to the east of us.  Many will say that people in charge down here screwed up with the evac, I personnally think it help saved many lifes.  Yes we had a problem with the traffic getting out, but this state didn't wait till the last minute so they could have sat on the hwy in Houston during the storm.  I think the local officals did fine when trying to move the 4th largest city out of range.
