That was a hell of a game. I can't cry in my tomahawk ill have to use a towel after the poor showing of the Red Sox. But my Pats won I think some one here thought they would lose. It was not pretty but they won
Nice job by the Astros. I'm not a huge baseball fan but even I couldn't change the channel after the 9th inning. Being a Braves fan you just knew no lead was safe. I just wanted them to get back home and put the ball in smoltz hand for game 5. This game reminded me of the classic games between the Mets vs. Astros in 86 and that July 4 game I think in 1985 between the braves vs. Mets that ended at 1am after 16 innings. Good luck to the Astros they are gonna need it, Cardinals are a team of destiny.
2006 looks like another good year for the Braves. Our payroll will be lower than the Mets for the 6th year in a row. The Mets have outspent all World series winners except Boston since their last apperance in the world series. I wish we could spend that kind of money. I guess you have to throw money at players to get them to play for the step-team in NYC.
