Richard Childress Racing Busch Series driver Clint Bowyer will move full-time to the Nextel Cup series next season and drive RCR's No. 07 Chevrolet. An official announcement of the Bowyer move is scheduled Saturday at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Bowyer will replace current driver Dave Blaney, while Jack Daniel's will remain as sponsor. Bowyer, 26, currently drives RCR's No. 2 Chevrolet and will continue to drive that car next season as well, sources said. (That's Racin') (10-13-05)
That's cool.... I had a feeling Dave "Crash" Blaney would be replaced for next year. I think Bowyer will make a fine addition. That car has a too cool looking paint scheme to suck every week.
Sterling already announced he will take the seat vacated by Scott Riggs for MB2 Motorsports. Also.. will Blaney help over at Roush or Penske?... or take the #0 Ride? The end of the season should be fun... seeing who takes what seat.
